HELLO

My name is Treat.

I am a graphic designer, born on Halloween; Trick or Treat.

Current - Senior @ CMU
Previous - Intern @ OCD

I will be graduating from Carnegie Mellon, spring 2018 with a BDES in communication design and a minor in fine arts.

I am interested in identity systems and branding.

I believe in the power a identity system can hold - how something like a logo or a branded shopping bag can instill different ideas and beliefs on a user.

I believe design needs to be innovative and experimental in order to not be stagnant.

I also think that all aesthetic design decisions must be made with reason in order to gain traction and not be seen as superficial.

My goal as a designer - create systems that are effective and speculative; systems that visually engage, within context, in ways that create new impactful experiences for the user and are effective on every level.

My website has been designed to work across breakpoints, however, it is most effectively previewed on a 1440px or larger screen.

Thank you for visiting.
